Terry Pickard – Group Chairman
Terry Pickard moved to Kyiv in 1992 following 19 years in senior management positions at the British company ‘JC Bamford’. His interest in the opportunities of the region stemmed from visits with JCB in the 1980’s and early 90’s, which culminated with a British Business delegation trip to Kyiv in 1990 with the then British PM Margaret Thatcher. He established the company in 1992. Today the company is one of the top real estate consultancies in the country.
Over the past 16 years Terry has become one of the leading members of the international business community as a member of the Board of the European Business Association, Member of the Committee of Foreign Investment to Kyiv, Director of the Primeros Property Fund GP, Past President of the charitable ‘Kyiv Lions Club’ and Chairman of the ‘Ukrainian Connoisseurs Club’. His advice is now sought not only by western companies seeking support for purchases, leasing or investment but also from senior members of the Ukrainian property market who are looking for partners, finance or simply to understand the needs of foreign investors.

Sergiy But - Managing Director
Has over 10 years of experience in real estate and construction business and hence has accumulated substantial management experience in this field. Sergiy graduated from the Kyiv National Schevchenko University in 1996 with a degree in Geophysics. He joined Pickard & Co. Ltd in 1998 as the Director of The Red Caps, a construction subsidiary.
In 1999 he was promoted to the position Director of the Property Division and became a member of the Management Board and then in 2001 he was appointed as MD of the Pickard Group. Sergiy But has achieved post graduate qualifications relating to the real estate industry and has had published a number of articles on the industry in the media. As native Sergiy communicates in Ukrainian and Russian with excellent English plus basic Swedish.

Svitlana Shulevska – Deputy Managing Director – Corporate Marketing & HR
Sveta in 1988 graduated from the Kiev Polygraphist Institute with a diploma of Editor of Scientific, Technical and Informative Literature. In 1995 she joined Pickard & Co. Ltd. as Managing Editor of the company’s publishing division.
In 2005 the company sold its publishing division to focus entirely on the rapidly expanding Ukrainian property market. Due to Sveta’s proven management skills she was asked to manage all corporate affairs in the main company – marketing & PR, staff, training & corporate strategy. During the period she also achieved a property valuation license. In 2007 she was promoted to Deputy Managing Director. Sveta speaks native Ukrainian & Russian and fluent English.

Paul Niland – Managing Director S.I.A.G.
Paul Niland moved to Ukraine in 2003, prior to that his career in financial services took him to many other parts of the former Soviet Union, but he decided Kyiv was a city where he wanted to live. Paul holds an “International Certificate for Financial Advisors”, a qualification issued by the “Chartered Insurance Institute” in London. Now with NAI Pickard Paul advises multinational investment groups on direct real estate investments in the Ukrainian market. He is also a fellow Director and founder of the Primeros Property Fund L.P. with Terry Pickard. Although Paul’s mother tongue is English, he speaks Russian fluently, has a very good knowledge of French and understands Spanish.

Igor Sirenko – Head of Valuation Department
Igor Sirenko has been working in the company since 2007 as the Head of Valuation Department and in November 2008 he became a member of the Management Board. Before joining NAI Pickard Igor has gained considerable experience in valuation, which he has acquired in the “International Business Centre” company as an Executive Director. He graduated from Cherkassy Technical University in 2001 and has subsequently acquired several additional qualifications in valuation, including MRICS, one of the highest international qualifications in the sphere of real estate. Igor is also a member of the following organisations: Pan-Ukrainian Association of Specialists for Appraisal (PUASA), Association of Experts on Valuation and the Society of Land Valuators. Apart from his native Ukrainian and Russian, he also speaks good English.
