As is well-known this financial crisis seriously hit the real estate industry worldwide. In today’s market a special situation with foreclosed properties emerged and more often banks are asking estate agencies to sell or manage their distressed assets.
For example, International commercial estate agency group NAI Global recently was one of just three firms selected by Citibank to dispose of its foreclosed commercial properties in the United States. Currently NAI members are working to start the disposition process of a 200-unit multifamily complex and two shopping centres in Texas, a 1,900-unit portfolio of five multifamily projects in three Midwestern States, a shopping centre in Illinois and an 800,000-square-foot industrial building in New Jersey.
NAI Global are already providing services to over 150 of the 7,000 plus banks insured by FDIC in the U.S. with an outstanding record of accomplishment. In the past few months, five new banks have been added to the list of NAI network banking clients, including Citibank, the nation’s largest bank.
